    Jennifer Lopez: I Fired Manager Who Told Me to Lose Weight

    Jennifer Lopez covers Glamour. Matthias Vriens-McGrathJennifer Lopez does many things -- she sings, she acts, she designs a clothing line -- but the thing she is best known for is her dangerous curves. Surprisingly, though, as the 42-year-old reveals to her former "Monster in Law" co-star Jane Fonda, who interviews her in the new issue of Glamour, she once had a manager who had the nerve to tell her to lose weight. Fortunately, Jennifer gave him the heave-ho instead.

    "I was just so infuriated that somebody said you couldn't have a little extra meat on you -- because I was by no means fat!" the mother of twins Max and Emme says. "That was so mean and closed-minded. I was like: 'No, this is who I am and this is the type of woman that I grew up with and it was beautiful and there's no reason to be anybody but myself.'"

    The "American Idol" judge, who announced her split with husband Marc Anthony in July, has a figure most women would die for, which means that no one is asking her to shed pounds these days.

    "No, I don't get that now," she says. "I think people know better."

    J.Lo also confesses that while her bikini body is currently no longer an issue, she hasn't ruled out plastic surgery in the future.

    "Honestly, I'm not going to make a judgment on it because I don't have to yet," Jennifer says candidly. "I mean, I'd like to think I'll feel great about myself and age gracefully, but then I think: 'Well, what if I do want a little bit of something?' I'm open to being open."

        people are so stupid this lady has more class more beauty then most singers and dancers I think she is perfect the way she looks having children etc. her body is perfect, The only thing I don't like about her is being a judge on American Idol she is too wishy washy and Steve the other judge is a #$%$ I sure miss Paula and Simon on the show, Randy is so so but better than JLo and Steve

      This sounds all great and everything but she is a lot thinner than she was when she was on In Living Colour. She has lost weight over the years. So she can tell that story but the truth is that she did what she was told.

      Yea folks should know better than to tell the queen of fabulous bootay's to loose weight. I think she's a role model for normal looking women who don't feel they need to be stick thin with no muscle mass. Spoiler alert!! That's not attractive to a man. How do I know? A man told me that word for word.

      The issue isn't really about whether or not she's fat..........it's about how she feels about herself. THAT is how a confident woman feels. She wants to be who she is.......how many women do I know that just wish they looked like, talked like, walked like, etc someone else. How sad.........

      She is beautiful and talented and always has been. I have no other comment because I do not know her. What she does and what she feels is her business. If I was built like her, I would take advantage of every minute of it and not pay any attention to what anyone said, one way or the other! I would think after all this time of her being in the spotlight and handling her own career, she knows what she is doing!! She can be sexy, mean, evil, good or any other personality she wants to be! she can not be ugly! All of that is being a great actress! She has talent!
