J.Lo’s Love Lesson

Jennifer Lopez is quite the romantic. She's had plenty of high-profile relationships with celebs like Diddy, Ben Affleck, and, more recently, Marc Anthony, with whom she split after seven years of marriage in July. She named her latest album Love?. The singer/actress, 42, even broke down in tears Saturday during a Connecticut performance of her song "One Love," which featured a choreographed re-enactment of her relationships through the years. But now, as J.Lo reveals to Glamour, she's finally learned what she calls "the biggest lesson of all" about the subject.

"You've got to love yourself first," she tells the mag. "You've got to be OK on your own before you can be OK with somebody else. You've got to value yourself and know that you're worth everything. And until you value yourself enough and love yourself enough to know that, you can't really have a healthy relationship."

As for her own life, the "American Idol" judge feels strong enough for a new Mr. Right. Just three months after announcing that she would divorce Anthony, Lopez is reportedly dating another Hollywood hottie -- actor Bradley Cooper. While she didn't confirm or deny the two are a couple, J.Lo admits that the spotlight adds more pressure to any affair.

"I think to give something a chance, to really get to know somebody, you want to do it out of the public eye," she explains. "You know the media -- they want to rush everything."

The "Wedding Planner" star also confesses about one of her other obsessions -- fashion. She notes that her adoration of high-end and low-end threads really helped when she recently added clothing designer to her resume.

"The things I liked when I was, like, 16 and in the Bronx -- jeans, cut-up T-shirts -- I still like," she says. "But I've been exposed to so much now from traveling the world and seeing couture clothes. I used all of that when I created my new line for Kohl's. My style has come from everything, from where I started to where I am today."
