Find out how Phillip’s scary new medical issues will affect this summer’s ‘American Idols LIVE’ tour!

Phillip Phillips, the American Idol season 11 champ, was scheduled to go under the knife for his debilitating kidney problems May 29 — but due to a fever, his surgery has been postponed till further notice.

Phillip has been battling kidney problems all season long, and surgeons now refuse to operate on him, as a sinus infection has led to a high fever.

He underwent a painful surgery two months ago, receiving a stent to support his failing right kidney. He’s already had eight surgeries to remedy his faltering kidney.

The surgery has been rescheduled for some time early next week, but fans fear that this delay in his surgery may interfere with his ability to perform in this summer’s nation-wide American Idols LIVE tour.
