Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard: We’re having a baby!

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard will soon hear the pitter-patter of little feet!

The couple, who have been engaged for nearly three years, announced that they are having a baby. "Yes, they are expecting their first child in late Spring," a rep for Bell confirmed to omg! on Monday.

Over the summer Bell, 32, and Shepard, 37, said that they were ready to start a family — and they noted they didn't have to be married to do so. "We'll have [children] out of wedlock," Shepard told Larry King during a joint interview to promote their film "Hit and Run." "We're not worried about that." Bell chimed in, "It doesn't really bother us."

The "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" actress previously said that she and Shepard, who met at a friend's birthday party, already consider themselves married. "We already wear the rings," she told Vegas Magazine. "I don't want a wedding. It's too much stress." But they would consider walking down the aisle — if marriage became legal for all couples. "I'll feel more comfortable having a party — or whatever we have, if anything — if half of our friends who are homosexuals [can celebrate]," Bell told King. "It's just kind of rude to invite everyone to a party for a right not everyone can hold."

Well, for now it seems that the next party the couple will have will be a baby shower. Congrats to them.
