Look Inside Molly Mesnick’s Baby Shower (at a Whole Lot of Adorable!)

Molly and Jason Mesnick have all the baby supplies they could possibly need – now they’re just waiting for their special delivery!

The mom-to-be, who is expecting her first child with her “Bachelor” hubby in March, was feted by family and friends on Sunday at a “baby party” in Seattle. The 28-year-old looked radiant at the animals-and-stripes themed bash, which was hosted by her sister-in-law Leslie Mesnick.

“The shower was beyond my expectations,” Molly tells omg!. “I knew these girls could throw a party, but they didn’t leave one detail behind. From the candy bar to the little elephant tags on the drink glasses, everything matched perfectly. I loved it!”

In addition to the adorable decorations, which came from Minted.com, guests – including her two best friends who flew in just for the party – enjoyed sweet treats from Jenny Cookies. They also played party games (guess the gender and due date), and left with party favors, including Hanky Panky undies.

While Molly is inching closer to her due date, she opted not to wear a maternity frock to the soiree, instead donning a Tibi dress she found on Shop It To Me that she paired with a black leather jacket.

“I literally have not worn a single piece of maternity clothes since I’ve been pregnant. I’m sure that won’t last as I’m heading into my final weeks, but I didn’t want to forgo style just because I have this new huge ‘bump’ attached to me,” she smiles. “The silhouette of the dress is very forgiving to a baby bump, but the style of the dress will also work great for post baby body, and beyond.”

Even Jason, who she married in 2010, made an appearance – as many dutiful spouses do! – as the shower was winding down.

“Jason was a nice little surprise at the shower,” Molly shares. “He showed up towards the end to help open a few gifts … and then pack them in the car. A baby shower full of females definitely isn’t his thing, so it was a nice treat to have him show up at the end.”

Some of those gifts included both sentimental things (her best friend knitted a sweater) and some silly ones (like a “Most Eligible Bachelor” bib and a Starbucks onesie for coffee-addict Molly) – and now they’re just waiting for baby!

“I’ve been pretty relaxed throughout this pregnancy, but now that my weeks left are in single digits I’m starting to get a little more nervous,” she admits. “I just want to make sure everything in the house is ready well in advance, so that my last few weeks before baby arrives are calm and relaxing. We have everything we could possibly need for the baby, so now it’s just a matter of finding a place for it all.”

And Jason’s experience as a dad – he has a 7-year-old son, Ty, from his first marriage who lives with the couple – is going to come in handy.

“The fact that Jason has been through this before helps put me at ease a bit,” Molly says. “He keeps telling me that it will be fine and anything that comes up, we’ll figure out!”

Sounds like great advice from a seasoned pro. She’s clearly in good hands.
