Britney Spears Goes Bra-Less: ‘Everyone Is Worried Like Last Time’
Is Britney Spears reverting back to her wild ways?
Over the weekend, the newly single singer stepped out sans two key accessories; her $90,000 engagement ring from ex Jason Trawick and a bra. Spears was seen headed into a Los Angeles-area recording studio on Saturday sporting a paper-thin sundress … and lots of side boob. Later that day, she retreated to the Mondrian hotel, even though she has a home nearby.
Forgetting undergarments and staying the night at a hotel wouldn’t be such a big deal if Spears didn’t pull the same stunts six years ago when she was in the throes of her breakdown following her split from Kevin Federline. How can we forget all those times Brit Brit stepped out without her undies? The Mondrian was also her favorite stomping ground during that time, and she was often spotted there with her then-boyfriend, paparazzo Adnan Ghalib … or sometimes, even just hanging out with complete strangers by the pool.
So, is Spears headed back down that scary road of 2007? Time will tell for sure, but those close to her are starting to grow concerned. “She is not very stable right now,” a source tells omg!. “She’s not doing that great, and there’s a lot happening … she’s working on a new album and is thisclose to inking her deal with Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, so everyone is worried just like they were last time.”
Also a little troubling: Spears doesn’t seem that broken up over the end of her romance with Trawick, who she first began dating in 2009. Not only was he her fiancée, but he also was co-conservator over her affairs (along with Spears’ father) as well as her confidante who accompanied her everywhere. Now that he’s suddenly gone, she “doesn’t seem like she is all that heartbroken,” adds the source. “It’s almost like she doesn’t have a clue what’s going on and it’s very sad.”
Or maybe the 32-year-old is just too busy to sit around moping?
As the source said, her deal with Caesars – which has been reported to be upwards of a $200 million deal – is “really close to happening.” And when it does, she will likely be splitting her time between Sin City and Los Angeles for a few weeks on and off. There has, of course, been no decision yet if her sons with Federline, Sean Preston, 7, and Jayden James, 6, will be joining her or will stay behind in L.A.
Spears is also busy at work on her eighth studio album. On January 7, she tweeted, “I'm seeing so much chatter about new music out there. Glad to see you're all paying attention ;) Lot of work to do in 2013! LETS GO!” Meanwhile, her current single with Will.i.am, “Scream & Shout,” remains at the top of the charts. The singer also recently signed with power agency CAA, which can only mean huge things professionally.
So, although signs of instability could be in the tea leaves, it’s still way too early to rule this as a relapse.
