  Heath is an amazing actor! And from what I've seen and read about him, he was an even more amazing person. His performance as the Joker is phenomenal and definitely oscar worthy.   heath ledger died because of the drugs he was taking to be able to get into character for the Joker. jack Nicholson warned him before hand, he had taken similar drugs to get into character for a previous movie. he said it will really mess Heath up if he wasnt careful and just to be cautious about using them for his role. The drugs did get the best of him but i do not think we lost him to the drugs

  OMG! Rach19 needs to get a life! Heath Ledger wasn't a homosexual..he PLAYED one in a MOVIE. We have lost another wonderful actor to DRUGS and/or ALCOHOL. His last film, Batmann, will be his legacy. It's so sad.

  apparently at the end of this film there is an in memorium to heath ledger. I have been a batman fan for many many years and I think he is depicted perfect by ledger, make up and all. And I dont think someone would look like that dead, so that is pretty harsh to say that, not to mention dumb if that is the best you can come up with.
