Twitter is swiftly becoming an integral part of the television landscape and many are beginning to wonder if the social media site could become a more accurate measure for viewership than Nielsen ratings. “omg! Insider” caught up with Broadcasting and Cable’s Melissa Grego and Yahoo’s Dave Nemetz to talk about the impact of the new TV Twitter rating system. Dave explained, “Their tracking Twitter basically. It’s TV Twitter ratings.
