A $1,000 bench warrant had been issued after neither the actor nor his lawyer appeared for a scheduled court appearance on March 18.

The following day, his lawyer appeared in court to enter a not guilty plea on behalf of his client and the warrant was rescinded.

Isn't there bigger issues that we could be worried about rather than somebody smoking on a sidewalk? Why don't the cops try and spend their time looking for rapists, murderers and all the other ACTUAL criminals out there? Stupid........

The no-smoking ban in California is AWESOME (I hate eating smoke with my meals).... However, he was outside, not inside, as long as he was away from the door... who cares? Finally, those cancer sticks will eventually stop everyone. Be well.

It is now against the law to smoke a cig outside anywhere in the downtown Burbank area...The exact reason why I don't hang out here anymore.

suprised the cops didn't shoot him, maybe because they would have gotten a ticket themselves for smoking him.

You have got to be kidding! All the law breakers out there who really do bad stuff, and they arrest this young man for smoking OUTSIDE a store? I do not even know what to say about something so stupied. Do the cops go through all the training they do to become cops, only to arrest some one for smoking outside? I have respect for our cops,The laws are on the other hand, not so much.

MANDYLEE500: Your comment caught my eye. What should he be going to jail for? He's outside, for God's sake. IT'S PRETTY IRONIC THAT YOU CAN FART ANYWHERE YOU WANT, WHICH IN SOME CASES ARE MORE LETHAL THAN SECOND HAND SMOKE.
