
LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Tom Cruise has accepted his new "Mission."
Cruise will produce and star in "Mission: Impossible IV," Paramount Studios confirmed on Tuesday.
Joining Tom as producer will be J.J. Abrams, who also helmed the third installment in the Cruise super spy franchise.

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. -- Tom Cruise returned to NBC's the "Today" show on Monday -- over three years after he called host Matt Lauer "glib" during a discussion about Brooke Shields taking anti-depressants following her pregnancy - a discussion the actor said did not represent who he really is and one that helped him learn "a good lesson."
And while Tom may have been on the NBC show to discuss his new film "Valkyrie," but Matt first started the interview by clearing the air.

In paperwork filed today in Los Angeles Superior Court, Michael Davis Sapir is suing the "Knight & Day" actor, along with his attorney Bert Fields, and jailed private investigator Anthony Pellicano, for allegedly wiretapping his phone during the course of a previous 2001 lawsuit that Cruise had filed against Sapir.
