NEW YORK, NY -- A woman is reportedly asking for $10,000 from Lindsay Lohan for the alleged unauthorized use of her fur coat over a three week period.
Masha Markova wore her $11,000 blond mink coat to a birthday party for a friend of Paris Hilton's ex, Stavros Niarchos, at New York City hotspot 1 0ak on January 26, but it was Lohan, who left in the jacket, according to the woman, who spoke to the New York Post.

Markova was wearing the coat, a gift from her grandmother, to the event. She told the paper that at least one point during the night, she was seated next to Lohan.
Hours later, the coat was gone and photos have emerged showing Lohan, leaving the club in the animal-skinned number.

Markova did not realize it was Lohan who left with her coat until, two weeks following the incident, she saw a photo of the actress in OK! magazine.
"I was actually talking on the phone to my grandmother about something else, and then I flipped through the magazine, saw the picture said, 'I need to call you back,' " Markova told the NY Post. "It was my coat. It was no doubt!"

After doing some investigation, and no action from 1 0ak, which Markova said had promised to get to the bottom of the alleged theft, she called her immigration lawyer Merrill Cohen, who in turn called Lohan's legal rep, Blair Berk. Cohen threatened suit.
1 0ak reportedly called Markova after her team threatened to sue the actress.

"They were very discreet, never mentioned a name or even the word 'coat,' " Markova said. "They just said, 'We're going to bring you something.'"
Two days later, the Columbia University student had her coat back. The Post reported the jacket smelled of cigarettes and alcohol and had a tear in the lining but it was later dry-cleaned and repaired.

"I don't see how it could have been an accident," Markova said of Lohan allegedly walking out with her coat.
She is reportedly asking Lohan to pay $10,000 for use of the jacket for three weeks.
When contacted by Access Hollywood, Markova refused to comment on the story without payment.
1 0ak would not comment, except to note that Markova got her coat back.
A rep for Lohan did not return calls.
