  i could tell from the 09 closing that they weren't happy, body language, maybe Kate should have taken notice when he said he was tired of the lack of privacy (you wouldn't know it by his actions) and John knew what Kate was like when he married her, cheating and acting a fool wasn't the answer. They both did the bickering she just had a better comeback
