The guys both served as producers, while Affleck also directed and starred in the film. As for the first lady announcing the big win, Ben admitted it was kind of surreal. "I was just asking these two guys outside, ‘Was that Michelle Obama?’” he said in the press room after the ceremony. “In retrospect the fact that it was the first lady was a huge honor and that she was surrounded by service people felt appropriate.
