Having dated on and off since March 2008, Mandy Moore and
musician Ryan Adams couldn’t wait to take the plunge after they got engaged in
February 2009. Just one month later, the couple decided to get hitched in an
extremely low-key, last-minute ceremony officiated by Pastor Steve Schulte, who
revealed to People that one of their reps had arranged for him to marry the
couple at the Whitefield Chapel at Bethesda Home for Boys near Savannah,
Georgia, only the day before. Aside from Mandy and Ryan, only the pastor was in
attendance, making it a very causal-yet-romantic wedding indeed. Three years
later, it sounds like their marriage is as relaxed as their nuptials were.
"We're big homebodies. We never want to leave [the house],” the
actress-singer told People. "I feel very supported and loved and at
peace. My life has reached this really beautiful point where I can sort of look
around and go, 'Wow. I'm so lucky.' I got my own little happy ending."
