Sir Elton John spoke out at "An Enduring Vision," the 6th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Benefit held at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. The singer has generously supported AIDS charities since the early 90s, when he lost friends Ryan White and Freddie Mercury to the disease.
