Actresses Sandra Oh and Olympia Dukakis unveil the AIDS Sculpture at the Royal Ontario Museum Toronto. The piece, which travels worldwide, was inspired by Robert Indiana's infamous LOVE sculpture.
It should be stated that the AIDS Sculpture was created by a Canadian artist collective called General Idea. Two of the three members, Felix Partz and Jorge Zontal sadly died of AIDS. AA Bronson is still making work and rocks.
We appreciate any effort that makes the world a little better. For another small effort please google The Tibetan Photo Project tibetanphotoproject creating a voice through the films and photos of Tibetans living in exile.
