However, just last month, she took time to appear in an ad in favor of President Obama. The actress, as well as Jessica Alba, Don Cheadle, Jared Leto, and Jon Hamm, appeared in Obama's "For All" campaign in which they recite the Pledge of Allegiance with an issue, such as "women's rights" (Portman's pick), "marriage equality," or "cleaner energy" scrawled on the hand over their heart.
