Woody Allen and Mia Farrow The custody battle between Mia Farrow and former boyfriend of 12 years, Woody Allen, in the early ‘90s quickly became a media circus with plenty of sideshows after the two split in the wake of 56-year-old Allen’s affair with Farrow’s 21-year-old adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn. Farrow sued for full custody of teen son Moses Amadeus Farrow, whom Allen had adopted after they began their relationship; 7-year-old daughter Dylan whom the couple adopted together; and their biological son, Satchel. Farrow accused the filmmaker of sexually molesting Dylan, a tactic Allen claimed was simply to help her case. Though authorities found no evidence of abuse, the judge in the case claimed he wasn’t so sure, criticized Allen’s relationship with Soon-Yi, and implied that Allen was an uninterested father. "He does not know the name of the children's dentist. He does not know the names of his children's friends,” the judge wrote in a 33-page ruling. “He does not know the names of their many pets. He does not know which children shared bedrooms.” In the end, Farrow was granted full custody. less
