Jesse James and Janine Lindemulder After Jesse James’ ex-wife, porn star Janine Lindemulder, was sent to jail for tax evasion in early 2009, he and then new wife (and now, of course, ex-wife), Sandra Bullock, were raising Lindemulder and James’ then-5-year-old daughter Sunny together. But after Lindemulder was released from jail at the end of 2009, she wanted the little girl back. James claimed Lindemulder and her husband at the time (also a convicted felon) were unfit to raise the child and even A-lister Bullock helped boost James' case by writing a letter to the court explaining her concerns for Sunny’s safety when she was in Lindemulder’s care, accusing the girl’s mother, who had battled addiction, of once falling “asleep from drug use” while she was supposed to be watching Sunny. After a years-long battle (during which time James and Bullock split), the reality star was granted full custody of Sunny last year and is currently raising her in Texas. Lindemulder reportedly gets one weekend of visitation a month with no overnight privileges. less
