The single Suleman had six children (which included a set of twins) through in vitro fertilization between the years of 2002 and 2007, but became a household name in January 2009 once the world found out that the public assistance recipient gave birth to a rare set of octuplets (through the help of IVF again, of course). Since then, Suleman has kicked up constant controversy, continued to struggle financially, and has attempted to make money as a stripper, porn star, and singer. Her fertility doctor has since had his medical license revoked.
