Cameron would later apologize for her mistake. Who knew an accessory could cause such a disturbance?

How can anyone defend her? It is right there...on film....unedited.....stupidity at it finest. I love it. How can she go to Peru without doing just a little RESEARCH? Just a little. Hollywood really knows how to pick 'em! The cream of the crap!

  • it was a mistake, leave her alone. someone can do all the research they want on a country they are visiting, but mistakes can still be made.

The duck face moron. What a dummy! This just shows how stupid and ignorant she is. It's more important to make a fashion statement then do a little thinking and consideration about who and where she's visiting. Disasters like this are why so many countries hate us. Anything to make an appearance.

she probably didnt even know....if she was a nobody im sure they wouldn't have noticed anyways....they should be focusing on thanking her that she actually went to peru to spend some american dollars, the poor people in peru dont care about a dam purse, they care about eating!

she didn't have the intention to offend them.. it was simply an honest mistake.. who would have thought that that design symbolizes somethhing else.. c'mon you perfectionists.. as if u don't commit mistakes.. an american wearing that bag and going to peru is far better than americans actually raping and abusing Asians..

I can't believe people would make such a hissyfit over a bag. It's not like she knew what it meant, or like the whole world knew about it also! Give me a break, a lot of people probably didn't know what the Maoist Insurgency was till now cause they probably searched info cause of this! So in any case we should thank Cameron for bringing us into the light of cherishing world history! LOL!!!! jaja!

I just think she didn't know what the bag actually meant. She most likely just liked how it looked and decided to buy it....
