Even "America's Sweetheart," 1970's Olympic ice skater Dorothy Hamill, has been touched by breast cancer. Hamill revealed in 2008 that she had been diagnosed with the disease, and eventually endured surgeries, radiation, and drugs because of it. She also works to help women who are still struggling with breast cancer, such as hosting an annual golf tournament to raise funds for breast cancer screenings and pitching a line of jewelry to benefit a breast cancer charity.
