  if i saw her "promoting" that book 1 more time i was gonna SCREAM. every talk show you turned on THERE SHE WAS. every tv ad you saw THERE SHE WAS. every newspaper or magazine you read THERE SHE WAS. even on the view, you could almost see tiny invisible guns pointed to the heads of the other 4 ladies MAKING THEM PLUG THIS BOOK.

  i used to respect barbara for the world class journalist that she is but now i can't even stand to hear her voice. not for what she did (the affair(s)) but for spilling her guts a bout it NOW. only someone desperate for attention and money would slander someone elses name. she's become SOOOO LOW CLASS.

  Has she even apologized for the affair? That (I think) is the true test. People deserve forgiveness but I haven't heard anything about her asking for it. She seems proud of the fact that she had a long affair with a married man.

  I kind of agree w/ you all- why tell?? But, at the same time, i still think it is a good thing fur us to know- that as perfect as Barbara has always seemed to be, even she has made mistakes. It's kind of nice to know she's human too...not sure if i'll read the book or not- i feel like i've heard about most of it already on TV.

  what is wrong with this country men and women are looked up to by sinning bragging about it and then encouraging others to do the same, oprah and barb can brag about never being any one's mistress because they pay their own way but never regret the sin they commited and didn't care about the hurt they might have caused others, oprah was ok with it she has lived with a man unmarried
