Bieber has made a number of odd clothing choices this year, as he took it upon himself to single-handedly bring harem pants back into modern men's fashion. What didn't go over so well was his way-way-way-too casual look to meet the Prime Minister of Canada, Stephen Harper, to receive the Diamond Jubilee Medal. A photo of the two Canadian men shaking hands -- Harper in a nice suit and Bieber in a pair of pinstriped overalls, a baggy white t-shirt and backwards cap -— went viral instantly. But this incident sparked particularly passionate responses, with one writer even labeling Bieber the "white trash prince."

Luckily, Bieber got to explain his outfit on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," saying that the PM had come to his venue, and Bieber didn't have a chance to change after his meet-and-greet with fans. He'll most likely be back to plain old harem pants in 2013. less
