Glenn is a perfectly stunning example of what it means to age gracefully. other than that odd squared-off thing sticking out of the top of her gown, she looks supremely elegant. She manages to look fresh and contemporary while being perfectly age-appropriate and elegant.

Agreed. Am I seeing things or is she in navy, not black?

I agree my eyes went right to that flap on the front and I was like what is that?

Me either, she looks gorgeous, and the dress otherwise is beautiful, but that accent looks like a bedazzled piece of cardboard shoved down into her cleavage.

I agree. It looks like a beaded napkin stuck in her bra or something. Otherwise, the dress is very nice.

It's to hide the fact that she is flat chested.

She outclasses and outshines half the "stars" who got the same/higher grades. She looks fabulous in this dress and oh so classy!

I agree with Joy, is that a modesty shield of beads? Maybe if it went all the way across...its just weird. The color tho is great for this once fatal star

Hmmm ... that dress really did not photograph well. It seemed to have been made out of a really lovely fabric, but who can tell?

She looks regal which should be every woman's goal as they get older... Absolutely love this... reminds me of Old Hollywood...

She always looks great too, love the velvet.

the jewled filler pc at the top detracts from how elegant the rest of the dress looks.

her invitation "I don't give a rats #$%$ about style, I can wear any odd thing, not match my favorite most expensive saphires with an elegantly stupid gown, Because I'm Glenn Close and I am the Queen of Hollywood, take a back seat ladies her majesty has arrived!! "oh William my septor please. Thank you darling! I don't need an invitation to my own kingdom!

I hope he speaks to me for the next couple of years. He’s known to get mad at me. He's brilliant and I adore him. He’ll win another award, so I don’t feel bad."

What you don't know about him is he's very racist. I mean, really nasty stuff. I've also seen him punch a little blind kitten. Please welcome the evil Colin Firth.”
