Based on a 1998 French film, the film focuses on a publisher who challenges his friends to bring the most pathetic guest to their weekly dinner gathering.
But when one of the guests arrives with a man who goes beyond the realm of pathetic, everyone else quickly realizes the guest is capable of ruining anyone's life who spends mere minutes with him.
