Zac Efron has turned into quite the hottie, hasn't he? When exactly that happened, we have no idea, but he's apparently been eating a lot of spinach (Popeye style). He and his ripped body are starring in a new ad campaign for John John Denim that's bound to get the attention of quite a few ladies. In the series of images that were taken in Los Angeles, he's showing off the jeans in a variety of poses including one in which he's leaning in the driver's side window of a car. Arguably, it's the best shot of the bunch. Other than looking incredibly sexy in his new ads, what else has he been up to lately?
Designer friendship
As if Zac's body didn't catch us off guard, he's also apparently BFF with genius Italian fashion designer, Roberto Cavalli. Who knew? Cavalli, who's been keeping fans up-to-date about his summer vacation, posted on his blog "I passed this time traveling between Monte Carlo and Saint Tropez, which amused me and gave me new, young, interesting and special friends… Zac Efron, with whom I am constantly exchanging text messages, and I have formed a friendship, based on mutual respect, which is destined to last a long time!" Despite rumors flying around that the former Disney hunk is dating model, Alexandra Storm, after they were seen cuddling together in St. Tropez, she was not with him on the boat.
"Sesame Street" guest
The 24-year-old is living every kid's dream! He's going to be on the beloved show, "Sesame Street," as a guest star during their 43rd season. In the promo shot, he's holding a basketball while Elmo leans over his right shoulder. The show launched on November 10, 1969, almost 18 years before the actor was even born. No word yet on when his episode will be, but the new season premiers in September.
"The Paperboy" trailer
The trailer for his latest movie, "The Paperboy," was recently released and it starts out with the actor wearing a white polo with incredibly short blue and white plaid shorts. Head further into the trailer and you get some strange split screen effect that was completely unnecessary. While we don't see Nicole Kidman urinating on him as she does in the movie, we do see her straddling him and the two of them dancing together while he's in his underwear. The movie is set for release on October 5, 2012, and also stars Matthew McConaughey and John Cusack.
