LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Zac Efron is more than
busy promoting "High School Musical 3," but the actor tells
Access Hollywood that although he plans on attending USC
in the future, he has no plans of heading to Broadway.
The "High School Musical" star sat down with Access'
Shaun Robinson and cleared up rumors about his plans for the
future.
"I was accepted to [the USC] film program, but I deferred," he
told Access.
And how soon might Zac be sporting his Trojan pride?

"Eventually... but not at this moment," he said.
Though he might not be in a classroom, Zac is finding his career
to be an education of its own sort.
"I'm learning so much every day working with great directors. I
just worked with Richard Linklater and Burr Steers and also Kenny
[Ortega]," he told Shaun. "I'm working hand-in-hand with directors
and taking home a lot of lessons."

As for reports that Zac will take over for "Harry Potter" star
Daniel Radcliffe in his role in the Broadway play "Equus," where
Daniel bares all onstage.
"No, that's a rumor," Zac told Access. "I wasn't
approached for it."
"High School Musical 3: Senior Year" will hit theaters everywhere on Oct. 24.
