LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Gillian Anderson, who is best known for searching for truth on "The X-Files," is pregnant with her third child.
The sci-fi star and boyfriend Mark Griffiths are expecting their second child together, as first reported by People.

The couple will add to their family, which includes their son, Oscar, who was born in November 2006, and 13-year-old daughter, Piper, from Gillian's previous marriage.
Gillian will team up with David Duchovny in a second installment of the search for aliens, government conspiracies and the truth in "The X-Files: I Want to Believe," opening July 25.
