The 2012 Teen Choice Awards took place on Sunday, July 22, and fashion as always was at the forefront. Unfortunately, it seems some missed the memo and went for ensembles that were less than stellar. Whether they had the wrong stylist whispering in their ear or picked the unflattering outfit all on their own, some celebs stepped out in fashions they should have left at home. So who were some of the worst dressed to walk the red carpet at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards?
Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson
Love the black leather pants on K-Stew, but the baggy white shirt combined with the purple and black patterned Roberto Cavalli structured jacket leave something to be desired. The white shirt would have looked much better had it been fitted and her hair needed a good washing and brushing. R-Patz looked like he needed some grooming as well, starting with a razor. The dark pants he wore were fine, but it would have been better had he opted for different shirts.
No idea where the "Glee" actor was going with this look, but his camo inspired pants combined with his white and midnight blue shirt were just a mess. They wouldn't even look good as individual pieces, but when put together, it's even worse. Seems like his stylist is mad at him.
The "Pretty Little Liars" actress is gorgeous, but even her looks and fantastic figure couldn't make the McHammeresque pants and bustier ensemble look stylish. She wore a black lace strapless bustier with black cropped pants that were way too big. Black skinny pants with a black slim fit jacket over the bustier would have made for a much better look.
If an outfit resembles a deflated garbage bag, you probably shouldn't wear it, especially to a red carpet event. The beauty wore a black Chagoury Couture halter dress that had a bubble skirt and floral embellishments on the bodice. She wore her hair in a ponytail, sported smokey eyes and completed the look with purple pumps. Had the skirt been fuller, it would have greatly improved the outfit.
Love her, but don't love the ensemble she wore to the 2012 Teen Choice Awards. She looked beautiful but the dress was far from. Her black, gray and yellow Falguni & Shane Peacock dress had cap sleeves and fathered trim at the hem. Her ponytail appeared to be held up with something resembling black electrical tape. Sky-high black Christian Louboutin platform heels completed the look.
