"Crazy, Stupid, Love." star Ryan Gosling is crazy, stupid, hot! So why in the world isn't he dating anyone? The "photoshopped" hunk upset a lot of hopeless romantics back in the day when he split from "The Notebook" star Rachel McAdams, and he hasn't been able to get his love life right ever since. So while he might not be able to ever find another Rachel, there is one lovely lady Ryan might really want to pursue -- if only she were single.
Emma Stone might be dating her "The Amazing Spider-Man" love interest Andrew Garfield right now, but she really needs to drop her web-slinging costar for her womanizing costar. Sorry, but it sort of sucks that Garfield dumped his ex-girlfriend Shannon Woodward ("Raising Hope") as soon as he became a hot commodity in Hollywood, and Emma can do better than a guy like that. Plus Ryan and the ravishing redhead looked incredibly good together at the "Crazy, Stupid, Love." premiere in NYC, where the Gos was photographed with his arm around the stone-cold fox's tiny little waist (seeing those photos has to make Andrew feel just a little bit worried).
And how can Emma not melt when a guy like Ryan gushes about how great she is? The adorable actor had this to say about his costar: "She's everything, all the time. There's no-one like her. As soon as she signed on for this movie, I knew it was going to be good. The whole film depends on my character giving it all up for her. When she came in the room, it all made sense. Show me someone that wouldn't give it all up for Emma Stone, and I'll show you a liar." Oh. My. God. How has that girl not melted into a pile of mush by now?
Stone also has the same warm glow and sincere charm that Gosling's ex McAdams has (both became stars in high school movies, Emma in "Easy A" and Rachel in "Mean Girls"), and she seems very well-grounded -- she might get compared to Lindsay Lohan a lot because of her looks, but she's nothing like Lilo. Plus Emma has some incentive to get close to Ryan -- he starred with her girl crush Christina Hendricks in the movie "Drive," so perhaps he could arrange a meeting between the flame-haired beauties (although such a meeting might cause actual flames to form).
Stone must enjoy Gosling's company somewhat -- after all, she did recently take him backstage to meet her pal Paul McCartney at a concert in NYC. The singer and Emma are actually such good friends that he designed her blackbird feet tattoo (seriously, Ryan? Why aren't you stealing this incredibly cool chick from Garfield!?).
Gosling has said that he once wooed a girl he had a crush on by entering an air band contest and singing the song "Uptown Girl" with her, so maybe he should invite Emma out on a karaoke date and sing her McCartney's "Maybe I'm Amazed."
Sigh. Maybe one day these two will come to their senses -- or maybe Gosling and Michelle Williams will realize that they're perfect for one another and starting dating in real life (somehow Ryan just has a way of getting cast with women that he has great chemistry with).
