Yep, another "famous" Kim has tied the knot. This time, it's Real Housewife of Atlanta Kim Zolciak. The "Tardy for the Party" singer wed her NFL beau Kroy Biermann on November 11th at their lavish Atlanta spread. But despite the relatively quiet hoopla surrounding the reality star's nuptials, we get the sneaking suspicion that the Atlanta socialite's wedding was probably better than Kim Kardashian's. Have we made a gross error in judgment by overlooking the saucy blonde's nuptials? (Yeah, yeah. I know...)
She's already started a family.
We must credit Kim Z. for living all the way outside the box. She went from a wife, to a mama, to a mistress, to a baby-mama, and back to a wife-and she's only 33. Suffice it to say, she started her romance out with NFL'er Kroy Biermann on much more solid footing than her previous beau, "Big Poppa." Heck, she's already gotten the kid part out of the way.
She wore a used wedding gown.
In today's financial climate, you've got to give it up for being frugal. That being said, we know darn well that Kim K. wouldn't let a used gown come anywhere near that famous body of hers. Although pics of the Zolciak's fairytale nuptials have yet to circulate, we've already gotten a glimpse of said gown. And it's not too shabby. The Southern-belle inspired frock has all the typical bells and whistles. At a reported 32lbs, wearing it was probably like carrying that baby weight all over again.
We haven't seen the wedding---yet.
Talk has already been brewing about the blonde bombshell's spinoff series. Will the premiere feature Kim and Kroy's wedding vows? The way that reality shows are these days you can never tell which slices of someone's life will actually play out for audiences to see. In any event, Kim and her footballer hubby didn't splash the airwaves with syrupy wedding details. For that, in and of itself, we can be thankful.
She got married on a better date.
Come on; you've got to admit that 11/11/11 has a much better ring to it than August 20th. It's just more romantic. And the way things are going over in the Kardashian camp, that August date will never be celebrated ever again.
Her marriage will probably surpass the 72-day milestone.
She's already raising two young ladies, has legitimate nursing skills, and dare we say it---more of a foothold in reality than the other recently wed Kim. Say what you will about Kim Zolciak's kooky persona, over-the-top wigs, and chain-smoking, wine-drinking steez. Despite all of her reality show antics, there's about a 99% chance that Kim and Kroy's marriage will make it past 72 days.
