Though the mother of three has been hospitalized and rehabbed since her split with the "Two and a Half Men" star, there is little evidence that jealousy played a part in her troubles. More likely, the trauma of being betrayed by her husband with a hotel party girl and other women during their marriage played a bigger role in the "Margin Call" star's emotional collapse.
Here's why we don't think Moore has been bitten by the green-eyed monster:
Moore knows Kutcher is just as likely to cheat on Kunis
The old saying "once a cheater, always a cheater" is popular for a reason. Just this past week, Dennis Quaid separated from his third wife for alleged multiple affairs, a charge that was also made by his second wife, Meg Ryan.
Kutcher was also alleged to have cheated on Moore more than once; so unless he subjects himself to intensive therapy or a personality transplant, he is theoretically more likely to cheat on his future mates than the average bear.
Kutcher has been critical of his new girlfriend's weight gain
Amidst talk that Kunis has disappointed Christian Dior by gaining weight, rumor has it that that Kutcher is also unhappy his main squeeze has gotten rounder. Though she was named by Esquire magazine this month as the "Sexiest Woman Alive" and is a member of Maxim's "Hot 100" list, the "Friends with Benefits" star may no longer have Ashton's ideal figure.
"Ashton has been with tons of models, and that is the body type he likes," a source allegedly told Showbiz Spy. "He had been dropping subtle hints, but she (Kunis) was not getting it, so he just told her flat-out that she is too fat."
Maybe his new girlfriend can handle the criticism, but the last thing the wafer thin "Ghost" star needs in her life is a man telling her to lose weight.
Moore can finally relax and act her age
We don't expect the New Mexico native to suddenly take up matronly pursuits like Bingo (not that there's anything wrong with that), but her days of hanging out with the young Hollywood crowd and doing whip-its could finally be over.
Hopefully, she will dive deeper into her philanthropic pursuits -- especially her work to end the sexual exploitation of children with the DNA Foundation that still bears her and Ashton's first initials. Just this past week, the soon-to-be 50-year-old was described as "radiant" co-hosting the GEMS Girls Like Us Benefit Gala.
What some wags read as jealous could be a woman relieved to see her marriage to Kutcher in the rear view mirror. Maybe Kunis should be jealous of her.
