Why Would Hugh Hefner’s Son Marston Need Anger Management Classes?

L to R: Holly Madison, Hugh Hefner, Bridget Marquardt, 2007

The battered girlfriend of Marston Hefner told TMZ she would forgive the Playboy empire heir if he publicly apologizes and seeks psychiatric help for his "anger issues."

Hugh Hefner's son was arrested this weekend after allegedly kicking and punching his live-in partner in their Pasadena apartment. But the 2011 Playmate said she would not press charges against the 21-year-old son of the silk-robed sex icon and his former wife, 1989 Playmate of the Year Kimberley Conrad.

"I don't condone domestic violence, but if one ounce of good can come from this bad experience, then I can live with it and move on," a visibly bruised Claire Sinclair told TMZ. She has sought a restraining order against her boyfriend who was released on $20K bail yesterday.

Whether or not the junior Hefner remains in hot water over reportedly beating up his girlfriend, one has to wonder why the privileged prince of the bunny kingdom would resort to violence against a woman when he seems to have so much going for him.

Being booted from the mansion to an outbuilding on the lushly landscaped grounds with his mother when he was eight could have something to do with his alleged anger issues. That's when Hef and his buxom blonde bride called it quits and mom got most of the custody.

When middle-school-aged Marston hopped over to the mansion he saw his share of scantily clad women hanging around his dad, but according to Hef, the impressionable pre-pubescent boy didn't mind. "Instead of somebody replacing mama, I dated a bunch of girls," he told GQ reporter Steven Kurutz.

Yet when he was interviewed by the same reporter, a then 18-year-old Marston had a different memory of pop's X-rated mansion: "It's, like, a little awkward, because it's not like I'm at some other kid's house and people are having sex. It's my house. Just knowing people are having sex at my house is uncomfortable."

Still, at 18, the bookish young Playboy prince seemed to have loftier criteria for women that transcended their bra size. "That centerfold in the magazine probably wouldn't be my girlfriend, because I wouldn't find her attractive. I don't care about fake boobs if the girl has a good personality, but most girls with fake boobs I don't find attractive -- because of why they got the fake boobs in the first place."

So, what happened to the idealist young lad who has spent the last few years in college majoring in philosophy? Could more than two decades of observing his elderly dad romp around the house with shapely human rabbits have finally put him over the edge and unleashed a darker side of his personality?

    Perhaps.

An odd tweet on Nov. 2 suggests Marston was fascinated by people being beaten. He posted a link to a very disturbing You Tube video showing an out-of-control southern judge mercilessly beating his disabled teen-aged daughter with a belt without commenting on how he felt about the horrific incident. Nine days later, he tweeted another video link, this time to police beating Occupy protestors in Berkeley, about which he also failed to offer his opinion.

After years of seeing women ogled like objects around his father's house, not to mention his father preferring to spend time with bimbos over his own son, one could imagine there might be some hurt-fueled anger stored inside the young man who seems to have it all, including, possibly, hidden rage.

probably because he's an ugly bitter little troll who will never come close to the success his father has and will be in his shadow and on the dole for the rest of his life. I love how they keep putting pictures of the dad in the story when he has nothing to do with it. Yahoo is the equivalent of the new york post.
