Whose Celebrity Parenting Style Should Snooki Follow?

    Snooki

New mom, Snooki, gave birth to a baby meatball, er, boy yesterday, exchanging her party shoes for Pampers.

The "Jersey Shore" star, who redefined single womanhood as the alpha female on MTV's hit reality TV show, could potentially morph into a role model for young mothers.

Given this huge responsibility, we thought the pint-sized new mom could use some help from celebrities who have already paved the way on parenting. Here are some famous mothers whose footsteps she could follow:

Angelina Jolie -- Take Your Children to Work (Every) Day

Like a mother goose, the world traveling actress, director and U.N. Goodwill Ambassador likes to have her children trailing her at all times. Most recently, Jolie's junior humans followed her to London where she is filming the movie "Maleficent," a remake of the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale. If Snooki decides to copy the "Salt" star, however, we hope she starts hanging out in places other than clubs and tanning salons.

Gwyneth Paltrow -- Don't Let Them Eat Cake (Unless It's Organic)

The GOOP blogger purports to be a hands-on mom who even picks up her children from school. She is also very picky about what she feeds little Apple and Moses. She once submitted recipes to a healthy parenting website for such yummy dishes as "Moses's Brown Rice Baby Food" and "Apple's Organic Roast Veggie Sticks." Given that Snooki's favorite foods have vodka as a main ingredient, we hope she at least reviews some of Gwynnie's recipe ideas for her mini-Guido.

Madonna -- Do As I Say, Not as I Do

Who would have ever thought Madonna would be the strictest mom in the neighborhood? The woman who helped make wearing underwear over one's clothes fashionable was once quoted as saying she doesn't allow her children to watch TV or eat ice cream. And if older daughter Lourdes left her clothes on the floor, "we put [them] in a bag, and she (had) to earn [them] back." Given her rule-breaking public image, it seems surprising Madge could be such a mean mom. Still, we definitely think Snooki should set limits on little Lorenzo, like no hooking up with girls until he's six.

Katie Holmes -- Fly Coach Like the Commoners

Since divorcing her daughter's father Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes has helped her daughter Suri learn how the other half lives. Accustomed to being driven around in limos and private jets, the Starbucks sipping six-year-old has had to endure taxi rides and commercial airplanes. The down to earth Snooki won't have to worry about unspoiling her son since she is not the type to put on airs in the first place. Right before having her baby she tweeted, "I'm a balloon waiting to pop" and one of her post-partum highlights was getting to eat eggs again.
