  Very sad again that things get all messed up because something was reported or taken from a conversation...Thank you Patrick for surviving so long - my dad had pancreatic cancer and perhaps made it 3 mos after he was diagnosed this was in 1994, so hopefully one day this ravaging cancer will be no more. May there be peace for the Swayze family. (It is sad that people are so rude - ROOSTER)

  people keep salmming hasselback but Whoopi ain't nothing nice either....this show has given her a lot of power that has gone to her head too....don't see much difference between her and rosie odonell nowadays....she needs to chill out and calm down!

  Chemotherapy doesn't solve stage 4 pancreatic cancer either. It might extend one's life, but the quality of life during that extension is poor. If I was in Mr. Swayze's situation, I would have rejected chemotherapy as a treatment option, as I've watched how useless chemotherapy really is in connection with the passing of several friends and relatives.

  Goldberg made one movie with Patrick, that does not make her his spokesman. She seems to think she is an authority on everything in this world since joining that little Dog & Pony show called The View. She should spend more time taking care of her appearance, she is a mess... So don't bother talking down to others Whoopi, your the last one to call the kettle black.

  My favorite picture/memory of Patrick Swayze is when he weighed 105 pounds...in the picture I'm thinking of, he had puked all over his leather jacket...it's a short life and a merry one (especially when "you're cured"), right, Patrick? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
