White Collar's Matt Bomer came out over the weekend when he publically thanked his partner, publicist Simon Halls, and his three children during an acceptance speech.

Bomer, 34, came out Saturday at the Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards, where he was honored with the New Generation Arts and Activism Award for his work in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

"I'd really especially like to thank my beautiful family: Simon, Kit, Walker, Henry," he said during his speech. "Thank you for teaching me what unconditional love is. You will always be my proudest accomplishment."

Halls is a Hollywood publicist with Slate PR. Among his clients are Glee's Ryan Murphy and How I Met Your Mother's Neil Patrick Harris.

In a 2010 interview with Details magazine, Bomer declined to comment on his sexuality. "I don't care about that at all," he said. "I'm completely happy and fulfilled in my personal life."

Bomer, who stars on USA's White Collar, will soon guest-star in an episode of Glee as Blaine's older brother Cooper Anderson.
