Morrison's album is due sometime in the spring, according to a news release announcing the formation of 222. "Starting my own label has been a longtime goal of mine and I am thrilled to be at the point in my career where it is finally happening," Levine said in a statement. "I am excited for everyone to hear Matthew's forthcoming album. Great things are in store for him with this release."

Morrison, 33, released his self-titled debut album through Mercury Records last May. The album peaked at No. 24 and included the hit "Summer Rain." The record also included a cover song he performed on the Glee Season 2 finale — "Still Got Tonight." "Adam and I share the same vision as we begin working on my record together," Morrison said.

I always knew he was going to become a producer. I've been saying that for a long time, since the beginning of the second album. Too bad he can't sign me up on his label. I'd make him so much money haha. I don't know who I'd want to work with if I made an album. I have some alternative ideas about music and singing and whatnot that I've been waiting to meet like-minded people to share those with. But for now I keeps them to myself. I think it's fun to experiment with styles and be eclectic, but still kind of have your own sound.

Then why did'nt Levine produce Maroon 5's third album?

Instead, they brought in Mutt Lange of AC/DC, Def Leppard and Shania Twain fame.

YIPPEEEE! Does that mean I can look forward to more generic, faceless music from people with digitally enhanced paper-thin voices similar to #$%$ 5.

Since when does the word #$%$ get censored lol
