Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift may not publicly confirm they're an item, but there's no doubt they're close.

VMA host Russell Brand said the Jonas Brothers personally requested to be introduced by Swift at Sunday's show, where they will perform.

At a press conference Thursday in Hollywood, Brand called the boys who are up for Video of the Year for "Burnin' Up" "God's favorite virgins" and added that their performance "will make the concept of an afterlife seem tame by comparison."

Surely, Swift agrees.

She praises the Disney sibs in the new issue of Us Weekly (on newsstands now), calling an August 28 triple dinner date (with Joe, Nick Jonas and girlfriend Selena Gomez) "really cool."

As for her relationship with Joe, she tells Us, "He's an amazing guy. Anybody would be lucky to be dating him."

They announced they will begin filming a new Disney Channel series in mid-September.

"It's going to be about us as a band but dealing with normal things, like trying to take out the trash and how not to get hounded by fans," Joe tells ELLEgirl. "It's going to be a funny show, and it's going to be a great cast."

    OMG! @_@ Okay first of all... Taylor looks like an old lady in that pic. Second of all, Taylor didn't say "He's a great guy and anybody would be lucky to date him." Nick Jonas said that about Selena Gomez [except change the He to She and Him to Her :) ] and then, Joe Jonas fired the same answer once Ryan Seacrest posed the same question. Joe was only mocking Nick.
