VIDEO: Community Fans Occupy NBC with a Flash Mob

Forget Occupy Wall Street. It was all about Occupy NBC for Community fans on Thursday when they staged a flash mob outside Rockefeller Center in support of the benched sitcom — and we were there to capture it all.

"This is not a complaint. This is just like, let's bring all of our energy and all of our love [together]," flash mob organizer and Community activist Catherine Boyd tells us. "I'm not a comedic actor. I'm not a trained person of any kind, so I tried to come up with something with zero rehearsal and zero skill set."

That included fake beards — this is clearly the darkest of all of the gang's alternate timelines, of course — and an a cappella performance of "Christmas Troy" to the tune of "O, Christmas Tree."

Community, which will film a full 22-episode season, will return to NBC sometime next year.
