LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- In the wake of Michael Jackson's sudden death, a scene featuring La Toya Jackson in Sacha Baron's Cohen's new comedy "Bruno," has been cut from the film prior to Thursday night's Los Angeles premiere, Access Hollywood has learned.

"Out of respect for the Jackson family, the filmmakers have decided to remove a small scene involving LaToya Jackson," a Universal Pictures spokesperson said on Friday.

La Toya, Michael Jackson's older sister, made an accidental cameo in "Bruno," similar to one by Paula Abdul, where she was coaxed over to a home in Los Angeles for an interview with the fake Austrian fashion journalist.

A source at Universal, the studio behind the film, told Access Hollywood on Thursday evening that the scene in the movie with La Toya, which involves a Michael reference, was cut from tonight's premiere out of respect for the family.

The scene may also end up deleted when the movie heads out on general release in the United States beginning July 10, the source added.

And "Bruno" had another Michael Jackson connection on Thursday evening.

Mourners of the King of Pop were unable to pay tribute to the late singer at his star on the Walk of Fame.

The street where Jackson's star is located was blocked off early in the day as crews set up for the "Bruno" premiere at the Grauman's Chinese Theater.

Instead, fans put up flowers and memorial items around the star for radio broadcaster Michael Jackson.

Mourners for the King of Pop will be able to access his star beginning at 9 AM on Friday

The world trulely lost an ICON, a man who gapped generations of music fans, an entertainer who gave his all to the world. Stop the poor jokes, it is proof that sooo many people in this world are ignorant to the truths, or to lazy to research them. I can only dream that one day I can possitively affect so many peoples lives. In 10 Years NO ONE will be singing a Souljaboy song !!!!!

Good-bye my dear Michael. However, we all know that he will make his NEW HOME a joyful place. I am glad that my mother was not here to see this happen. She went HOME 18 months ago; but Michael was her world. Her cd and dvd player were brought just for his music and videos. You never went home and he wasn't playing in the house. No one was ever allowed to say anything negative or you left t

Explain this to me please...Why are people still spouting off about the molestation charges, now that Michael is dead? You need to take into consideration that he has children and a huge family that are missing someone very important to their lives now, and they'll never get him back. RIP Michael, and bless you Jackson family. I know your pain.
