Uma Thurman Engaged To Multimillionaire

NEW YORK, New York -- Uma Thurman is engaged, a rep for the actress has confirmed to People.

Thurman will wed her Swiss multimillionaire beau, Arpad "Arki" Busson.

According to People, Busson proposed with some serious bling, using an 8-carat center stone surrounded by 20 smaller stones to win Uma's hand.

"It's the most beautiful piece I've ever seen," a source told People. "Arki did a wonderful job."

Uma and Arki began dating last summer after attending a private dinner together in Milan.

And despite the strain of a long distance relationship (Uma lives in New York, Arki lives in London), the couple found a way to make it work.

This will be the second marriage for Uma, who was previously married to actor Ethan Hawke.

The couple, who divorced in 2003, has a son and a daughter.

Busson also has two children with supermodel Elle Macpherson. They split in 2005.

No wedding date for Uma and Arki has been set, the source told People.
