    'Twilight' Star to Be a Dad

    Congratulations are in order for Jackson Rathbone -- the 27-year-old actor/musician best known for his role as Jasper Cullen in The Twilight Saga is going to be a dad!

    Rathbone and his girlfriend Sheila Hafsadi are to become first-time parents this year.

    The couple "is thrilled and excited to be expecting their first child," his rep confirms to Us Weekly.

    Hafsadi, a burlesque dancer, reportedly met Rathbone during a tour stop with his band 100 Monkeys. According to an Us Weekly source, she is currently five months pregnant.

      Maybe I'm just old fashion. Can someone explain to me why people these days say they aren't ready to get married, but they don't have a problem starting a family together? Does anyone think of the children that are being forced to be born out of wedlock?

      It's funny how just because a man is hot, that every single man that is insececure about his own attractiveness calls him gay. Wait let me put that in guy talk, Dude just because you think some other dude looks better than you and showers more than once a week, or doesn't change up his outfit by turning his shirt insiyde out and putting it back on, doesn't mean he's wearing makeup, doesn't mean he's gay and doesn't mean he wants to be a girl. Even dudes who are hot and have nice skin, and take showers everyday are still guys. A lot of them hunt, they work out, they ride motorcycles. They have to be attractive to be in Hollywood. If they aren't attractive, Micky Rorke, they don't get many jobs or make much money. So apparently every chick who doesn't wear makeup is swingin between the legs? Yah. sissies. Yall are whiners.

      Oki, so yay for Jackson! I'm glad he's stoked. And while it's totally your opinion to say, you know what, i don't agree, and leave it there, it is kinda of a bully thing to try to enforce your beliefs on them and make it seem like they're evil because they're doing what makes them happy. Just like most american women would not like very traditional hindi or arabic men to tell them just why they're a little slutty simply b/c difference of morals. Personally i think it breaks even, because if they got married then divorced there's a whole lot of things that go into who gets what and what rights, especially when you have a bank like Jackson's, i don't know about his girlfriend. People get married and have kids then divorce all the time. AND, Jackson is not a little boy he's a grown man who can and will make his own mistakes regardless of our opinion. He's not teaching children anything, it's up to the parents to guide the children as any adult knows, not everything your parents teach you you end up agreeing with and while some star may've amused you for a couple of months the only time it was life changing was when it was something you really wanted to put the effort into doing. there's my little two cents

      I agree with Betty M. I remember a time way back when when people would get married, then live together, then have children. Someone I know when I asked why she had a child out of wedlock (a bold question I know but I asked anyway) she said they couldn't afford what they had to pay for the church to get married first. Come on! You can't afford the church but you can afford a child?!
      But all the best to the couple. I hope the baby will be surrounded by a loving, supportive family.

      another innocent baby being brought into the world without a legally committed mother and father...sending a great message to the kids that look up to them.

      good luck Jackson and Sheila.I'm sorry but you don't have yo be married to be happy,look at Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel they have 5 children and been together for 30 plus years and are extremely happy.A peice of paper doesn't garentee happiness.
