    Trump unveils new 'Celebrity Apprentice' crew

    NEW YORK (AP) — Mob boss widow Victoria Gotti, singer Clay Aiken and IndyCar champ Michael Andretti are on tap for the next edition of NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice."

    Host Donald Trump announced the new batch of contenders on Wednesday's "Today" show. They also include "Real Housewives of New Jersey" cast member Teresa Guidice, comedian Lisa Lampanelli, former Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza, rock star Dee Snider and "America Chopper" star Paul Teutul Sr.

    Other contenders include radio host Adam Carolla, comedian Arsenio Hall, singer-actress Aubrey O'Day and magician Penn Jillette.

    Rounding out the rivals are model Cheryl Tiegs, singer Debbie Gibson, "Star Trek" star George Takei, singer Tia Carrere, actress-model Patricia Velasquez and "Incredible Hulk" Lou Ferrigno.

    "Celebrity Apprentice" returns for its new season Feb. 12.

      I don't mind that has-been celebrities are doing something to get themselves back into the spotlight, because it is for charity. What I do mind are the people that have become celebrities as a result of their father's murderous criminal activity. Let's face it if it wasn't for John Gotti, we would all be saying "Victoria Who????" She should be on Mob Wives, I'm sure she would get along withSammy Gravano's kid....now that would be drama. How does the father, wife, son of a victim of Dad feel when they have to see her face on TV living in a Long Island Mansion with her kids driving BMW's and getting John Gotti Tatoos?????

      I use to watch celebrity apprentice faithfully but my family and I will not support the Donald because of his ignorant statements and politicizing himself for ratings. It is not a joke to lead the Country and he uses the media like a pawn....he is not getting his hooks on me!

      What happen to the days when it was "The Apprentice" instead of "Celebrity Apprentice"? You know, when real people competed and someone ended up with a job working for Mr. Trump? These pseudo celebrities should just write down their charity choice, Trump can draw one out of a hat and write them a check. I don't watch it since it's always "celebrities" now (should be celebrity has beens for the most part) but it went off the tracks and Trump didn't seem to notice.
