Travis Barker Reveals Reason for Arm Sling at Grammys

Travis Barker says he wore an arm sling to the Grammys because he'd just undergone surgery related to his near-fatal plane crash last September.

"I kind of rushed out of the hospital and my hand was numb, but I didnt tell anybody," he told Extra's Mario Lopez . "It was like in four or five of my fingers. I really wanted to fix it as soon as possible.

"I had bad nerve damage, so I just got surgery," he added. "I have eight to ten weeks to recover."

Barker suffered second and third degree burns following a Learjet crash that killed four people and injured fellow passenger DJ AM in September. He told Usmagazine.com last week that he has "a couple more surgeries" scheduled.

The Blink 182 drummer hit up the Grammys with Shanna Moakler , whom he divorced in 2006, but recently reunited with.

"I really can't be happier," Barker told Us.

The couple have two children together.
