"She was a star and a true lady, and she will be missed greatly," Spelling told People. "People everywhere knew her by name. I loved when fans wanted her over me. I felt proud!"
According to People, Mimi LaRue passed on at her home surrounded by her entire family. She lived long enough to meet her human sister, Stella, who was born just last week, and to witness the Oxygen premiere of "Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood," in which she was a central character.
