A drama queen, or king, loves to draw attention to themselves. However, the celebrity versions are the most self-centered creatures on the planet. Look up narcissism in the dictionary, and you may find their photos.
6. LeAnn Rimes
They say the best way to deal with people dissing you is to ignore them, but not LeAnn. Ever since this cheater hooked up with another cheater, she can't stop defending her marriage ... or her weight ... or anything else. If you want to follow the country crooner's rants, just go to Mrs. Cibrian's Twitter. She's on it 24/7.
She's got an enormous ego, but what do you expect? She's a gazillionaire. Catch Oprah on the cover of every one of her own magazines. Catch her dishing out advice to everyone, including fellow stars. Is "Guru" her middle name? You be the judge.
4. Sarah Palin
In 2011, the former governor of Alaska was center stage. However, her spotlight grew dim after her big announcement. "After much prayer and serious consideration, I have decided that I will not be seeking the 2012 GOP nomination for president of the United States," she said in October. But hold on. Drama queens don't stay quiet for long. "It's not too late for folks to jump in," Palin said in December, "Who knows what will happen in the future."
3. Lady Gaga
Before she became a mega star, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta looked like the girl next door in Abercrombie & Fitch. Not anymore. She ditched the jeans and sweatshirts for crazy hairstyles and outrageous costumes, and she changed her name. It worked. Today, scores of Little Monsters kneel at Lady Gaga's feet.
You can always count on Kim Kardashian to keep things lively. Ever since she sprinted ahead of her sisters with that infamous sex tape, she's dominated the news. The latest, of course, was her 72-day marriage that debuted on E! to huge ratings. "Decided to change my twitter background to nothing. I wanna be more simple in 2012," tweets Kim. Don't count on it.
1. Charlie Sheen
It's as if he's positioned duct tape over his mouth lately, but at the beginning of 2011, the tape was off. Before he got back to work, including preparing for his new comedy series "Anger Management," he amassed millions of Twitter followers, invented new hash tags, attracted mega attention to his Sheen's-Korner on Ustream, and hit the road with his "My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option" tour. We watched him rant about "Two and a Half Men" and rave about his goddesses, #tigerblood and #winning.
