LOS ANGELES, Calif. (December 27, 2007) Mug shots! Arrests! Jail time and multiple trips to rehab 2007 was the year young Hollywood spun out of control.

Here at Access Hollywood, we've done 247 on-air stories on the big three Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears and Paris Hilton, but where did they rank in the Top 5 Celebrity Scandals of 2007?

Number 5: In May, Lindsay Lohan's Memorial Day weekend ended with a bang.

After a very busy night of partying, Lindsay ran her Mercedes over a curb and into a clump of trees, leading to an arrest on suspicion of DUI, which led in part to her 84-minute stint behind bars in November.

Number 4: Less than a year after Oprah Winfrey's tearful opening of her South African "Leadership Academy," she returned to the campus begging forgiveness from her 152 students and their parents amid shocking claims of sexual and physical abuse.

Number 3: Even though Paris was locked up for exactly 22 days and 23 minutes, she didn't forget how to play to the cameras, smiling the entire time and giving a little wave.

Number 2: In February, Britney Spears parked in front of Esther's hair cutting studio in Tarzana, California, where she reportedly sat in her car and cried before and after she shaved off her hair.

Then in October, Britney lost primary custody of her kids Later, a court commissioner ruled that a parenting coach must monitor Britney for eight hours per week when she does have visitation.

Number 1: 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears announced she was 12 weeks pregnant with boyfriend Casey Aldridge's child.

    The biggest scandal is JAMIE-LYNN getting pregnant. I consider it a MIRACLE. WIth all the HOMO's in California -- its a wonder anyone get's pregnant out on the Left Coast anymore! Have a nice day.

  • I Think that if we start ignoring these people they will go away. They do this stuff for publicity and we sit here and bad mouth them for being the bad influences that they are I know I am guilty of reading these tabloids myself but sometimes I wonder how many bad things people can do before they are put away somewhere.
