LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Football star Tom Brady is already a father and has a baby on the way with his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen, but the quarterback says he's just getting started when it comes to his expanding his family.

"I want a lot of kids. I'd love four or five," Tom told Details September issue. "We'll see. It's not always my decision."

While Gisele, the quarterback's wife, might have a little more sway in the matter, Tom said the two are very alike. In fact, that's one reason they were introduced by a friend who set the two up on a blind date.

"This friend told me he knew a girl version of me," Tom recalled.

"And he said to me he'd found a boy version of me," Gisele added.

Prior to falling for the Brazilian supermodel, the football star dated "Sex and The City" actress Bridget Moynahan. The two split in December 2006 while she was pregnant with their son, John Edward Thomas Moynahan - something Tom says he never planned for.

"That's not how you envisioned your life, that's not how you envisioned having children, but it happens. Life is not living in the suburbs with a white picket fence. That's not life," he told the mag. "Somehow our American culture has made it out that that's what life needs to be - and that if it's not that, it's all screwed up. It's not. You go through life and you try the best you can."

    What a jerk. He didn't want anything to do with his first child. Now all of a sudden he's all excited to be a dad. Yuck. I used to like him and now I think he's awful.
