NEW YORK, New York -- More than three years after his controversial interview with anchor Matt Lauer, Tom Cruise will return live to NBC's "Today" show this coming Monday morning.
In an interview set for December 15, the star will talk about his new film, "Valkyrie," as well as his career and life with his famous family.

Tom and Matt sparred during his last appearance on the show, when an exchange on anti-depressants found the star calling Matt "glib," but the two buried the hatchet earlier this year when Tom made a successful appearance at the anchor's Friar's Club Roast.
"You sit on a couch all day and interview the car from 'Knight Rider,'" Tom joked at the roast in October, referencing their earlier run-in. "Lose my number, you glib putz!"

Matt responded in kind, joking, "Tom, can you stay? We can get a booster seat," as Cruise left the stage.
